Scope

This specification covers uPVC S-1000 and S-600 Solid Wall Pipe and uPVC DWV Fitting used in sanitary drain, waste and vent (DWV), sewer and storm drainage piping applications. This system is intended in non-pressure applications where the operating temperature will not exceed 140° F.

Specifications

Pipe shall be made and manufactured from virgin rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) vinyl compounds with a cell classification 0f 12454 as identified in ASTM D 1784. All pipe and fittings shall be manufactured in the Philippines. All systems shall utilized a separate waste and vent systems.

Installations

Installation shall comply with the latest installation instructions published or with supervision by Fighter Lock Philippines Corp. and shall conform to all applicable plumbing and building code requirements. Buried pipe shall be installed in accordance with ASTM D 2321. Solvent cement joints shall conform to ASTM D 2564. The system shall be protected from chemical agents not compatible with uPVC compounds. The system shall be tested after installation through leak test for 24 hours as much as possible.
